Callaway just dropped an upgrade to its Chrome Tour Triple Diamond — and the headline is a new mantle technology they’ve spent four years developing. The result: more ball speed without more spin, which is exactly what faster-swinging players are looking for.
The new Tour Fast Mantle has a 16% higher modulus than the previous generation. In plain English, it’s a stiffer layer that helps the ball transfer energy more efficiently at impact. Stiffer mantle, faster ball, same spin profile. That’s the pitch, and Callaway’s Senior Director of Golf Ball R&D isn’t shy about it: “I would put this golf ball up against anything else and it’s going to be as long or longer.”

If you’re already playing the standard Chrome Tour and want more distance, this is the step up.
If you’re a mid-handicapper with a moderate swing speed, the regular Chrome Soft is probably a better fit — the Triple Diamond isn’t designed for everyone.
